San Francisco’s Marty Ogden describes our local team as “small but mighty.” This year, Vanessa Cool, Marie Meadows, Herbert Flournoy, and Marty have provided hands-on support to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Meal Pack that generated over 21,000 meals for the SF – Marin Food Bank — and sorted food for donation for their Community Engagement nonprofit partner, White Pony Express, whose mission is to provide food rescue and recovery. Kudos to our West Coast colleagues for demonstrating the spirit of generosity!

In Canton, our teammates had a great, sunny morning participating in School on Wheels of Massachusetts’ — their Community Engagement nonprofit partner’s — annual Run, Wag, and Walk 5K with their families and furry friends to support students in need. Intact’s Michelle Sears shared, “Perfect weather, adorable pups, and a dedicated group rallying for a great cause. I’m proud to be able to represent Intact, and alongside SOWMA, provide backpacks and services to children in need.”
Thank you to our employees for living our value of generosity!
This Spring, our Morristown, NJ office community engagement team is in full swing, providing hands on support to two local nonprofits. They partnered again this year with Deirdre’s House, a community advocacy center for children of abuse and neglect. They cleaned and decorated the home for the season, freshened its backyard, and hosted a food and hygiene supply drive (collecting more than 5 full boxes of supplies). The team also supported nourish.NJ by compiling 35 breakfast packs that included messages of encouragement for the recipients. We appreciate our teammates continual care for their community!
This week, our Intact teammates Sasha Aronson, Patricia Cadogan, Cynthia St. Onge, Christine Leung, and Carmen Duarte participated in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s “Future of Inclusion” Northeast Forum in NYC. With a focus on “Talent, Technology and Transformation, the day-long conference was informative and inspiring. And always a terrific opportunity to network with industry friends old and new!
