When our colleague Ray Roy said goodbye on Friday, April 1 – and said he wasn’t coming back – we knew it was no April fools’ joke! After a successful career at OneBeacon, he was simply joining the ranks of retired insurance professionals. Ray was among the Atlantic Mutual underwriters who came aboard back in 2004, when OneBeacon bought the renewal rights to that middle-market portfolio. As one of the original members of our technology business team, his OneBeacon career spanned over a decade in our San Francisco office.
Recently, his OneBeacon colleagues from near and far gathered to celebrate his career and wish him well at a celebratory dinner.
