Recently, OneBeacon Government Risks’ Business Development team traveled to San Antonio for their annual planning meeting. But it wasn’t all work and no fun! The team took a break from planning for the upcoming year to visit TopGolf, where they enjoyed golf games for players of all skill levels.

OneBeacon Government Risks (OBGR) has grown significantly since it was founded seven years ago– especially when it comes to its marketing. The group frequently exhibits and speaks at association conferences, sponsors events, authors bylined articles for trade and industry publications and is very active on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram.
With such an active marketing program, the team felt it was the right time to take stock and review and reevaluate it’s messaging. Over a span of several months, the group worked with Marketing and Communications to execute a brand initiative, with the aim of creating a crisp and clear message in the marketplace through communications and visual marketing. And on May 28, OBGR leadership unveiled the results to employees.
Congratulations to OBGR’s Yvette Maneval who recently celebrated her retirement. Yvette joined the group in 2008 and worked for more than 40 years in the insurance industry. You can read more about her retirement in OBGR’s In the Know blog>>
Our Denver-based Government Risks team recently hosted Colorado Public Risk Management Association’s (PRIMA) monthly meeting. Attendees gathered at their Denver office and enjoyed presentations by OBGR’s Kenny Smith and Julie Frisbey-Decker. Check out some photos from their event!
