OneBeacon Government Risks (OBGR) has grown significantly since it was founded seven years ago– especially when it comes to its marketing. The group frequently exhibits and speaks at association conferences, sponsors events, authors bylined articles for trade and industry publications and is very active on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram.
With such an active marketing program, the team felt it was the right time to take stock and review and reevaluate it’s messaging. Over a span of several months, the group worked with Marketing and Communications to execute a brand initiative, with the aim of creating a crisp and clear message in the marketplace through communications and visual marketing. And on May 28, OBGR leadership unveiled the results to employees.
The employee brand launch was held at a local San Antonio hotel and was attended by employees from both of OBGR’s primary offices (Denver and San Antonio). Jeff Richardson, Dennis Crosby and Carmen Duarte led presentations on Government Risks’ history and unveiling the various elements of the project.
Following the presentation was a luncheon and “goody bags” containing new Government Risks branded marketing items, such as mousepads, trade show T-shirts, a new capabilities profile and more.
The entire project comes to an exciting point next week, when OBGR unveils the new brand externally during the national PRIMA conference, where they will exhibit and lead several presentations. Additionally, their redesigned website- onebeacongov.com- will go live to coincide with the conference.
