The Flagship Award is presented annually to the top IMU Region for profitability, growth and teamwork. The winner selects an award that is displayed in their office and this is usually presented by the IMU President, Bob Gallagher. Below is a picture of the regions with their chosen award.
It recently came to our attention that the OneBeacon Technology Arizona underwriting and risk control team attended the Arizona Technology Council’s 2012 Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Awards last November. The annual award ceremony honors technology leaders and innovators from across Arizona and attracts more than 1,000 attendees each year. The awards took place at the Phoenix Convention Center on November 8.
Not only did OBTI folks attend, but one of our insureds was awarded the Small Company Award that evening. Belated congratulations to them and to the OBTI Arizona team!
Last week was an exciting one for International Marine Underwriters! Not only did they host a successful producer event on the Spirit of Boston, but they also awarded their annual Flagship award for 2011.
This year, the coveted IMU award went to the New England Region. When Meredith Atwood, Regional President received the news, she was thrilled, “After another long year of focus and hard work it is great to see the team recognized for its accomplishments,” said Atwood. “Without the contribution of each and every member, our growth would not be possible. Good work team!”
