The Holiday Season is here! Unlike previous years, office holiday parties are going virtual this season as many look for creative ideas to get the team in a festive mood.
Recently, few employees from IT and the development team organized a virtual Cheese and Charcuterie Board Workshop.
The hour-long event was hosted by Alice’s Table that shipped a package of gourmet cheeses, meats and other items to each participant. On the online video call, the moderator led the group through the steps of building a cheese and charcuterie board.
Cheeses were cut into special shapes, and placed with sliced salami, pepperoni, crackers, pears, fig jam, mixed nuts, pickles and olives – resulting in a colorful and delicious platter!
The participants were Jeff Neal, Alissa Perkins, Rob Gess, Neeraja Narava, Chad West, Andrew Calara, Jeff Neville, Chris Arnold, Arthur Ervin, Lorie Suttenfield, Cathy Feazell, Rob Martin, Karen Critzer, Patty Rehr, and Carl Artis.
The semi-digital experience was a hit, as the group gave very positive feedback. Participants were excited and engaged by this different approach to remote team building, and a great way to foster a sense of community in these uncertain times.
