The OneBeacon Government Risks team gathered February 29 through March 3 for Winter Training Camp in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. There were 39 OBGR and nine OBIG employees in attendance.
It was a fun and engaging week filled with 16 top-notch presenters on the topics of: OBIG: What we do, OBGR Culture, Regional Business Plans, Property Rewrite, Casualty Refresh, Market Conduct Education, Risk Control and Claims, and Industry Issues.
But, it wasn’t all hard work and seriousness! We also enjoyed a couple evenings out on the town. Employees dined around San Antonio at six delicious restaurants including Paesano, Luke, Boudros, Acenar, Biga on the Banks and Las Canarias. Then, we spent our last night gambling away at the Buckhorn Saloon. There were food and music and most importantly casino games! Mary Vasquez, Dave Swartz and Becca Alvarado walked away with the jackpots when it was all said and done.
I think we can all agree that we left Winter Training Camp feeling reconnected, refocused, re-energized and refreshed!
