As part of its close affiliation with the Electronic Components Industry Association (ECIA), OBTI recently sponsored and attended the ECIA Executive Conference in Rosemont, Illinois. The ECIA works to promote and improve the business environment for the authorized sales of electronic components, and offers OBTI’s risk management services and solutions to its members.
The ECIA’s three-day summit brought together the senior management teams of leading-edge electronics companies to focus on industry trends, developments, and future direction. This year’s theme, “Shift Happens,” was about transforming capabilities to meet the changing times.
A team from OBTI had the opportunity to exhibit with broker Norman Spencer at the event, which we’re told was an educational and fun experience. The group even hosted a raffle during the event—check out Molex’s David Harmet (pictured left) presenting the battery charger he won!
