Last week, our Boston, Farmington and Canton offices, in addition to our Finance team in Plymouth, held their office holiday parties. From cubicle decorating and ugly sweater contests, to some festive games, all three offices had a great time!
These last few weeks, our IT and Actuarial teams represented OneBeacon at various college career fairs. They spoke to college students from all around the country about the IT & Software Development and Actuarial internship opportunities at OneBeacon. And to make things fun, some IT members held a pizza party raffle! Students just needed to give their resume for a chance to win!

Earlier this week, our Actuarial and HR Recruiting teams met with college students from across the country at the University of Minnesota’s actuarial career fair. In search of internship candidates, our team interacted with many throughout the day and even hosted a friendly raffle at their booth.
With 25% of industry employees nearing retirement by 2018, there is a growing need to inspire young professionals and new graduates to join our industry. That’s exactly the goal of the industry-wide Insurance Careers Movement campaign.
