Over the past few years, our internship program has greatly expanded. So far this year we’ve welcomed 23 interns, trainees and recent graduates to OneBeacon. Coming from 13 different universities and colleges, these students have lent their talents to eight of our business and service groups including:

College Relations
To continue attracting the next generation of top talent, our recruiting team is actively attending career fairs across the country. In the past three years the team has attended various on-campus events at more than ten schools and has been pleased with the results. We look forward to adding more schools in the future.
From Intern to Employee
Since 2015, OneBeacon has hired 42 interns and 42 new graduates from more than 50 colleges and universities. Hires have spanned our business and include IT Development, Underwriting, and Actuarial.
Tyler Springhetti is our most recent intern-turned employee in our Canton office. As a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Tyler started as an IT intern in Canton the summer of 2016. He continued on past the summer—during breaks and between classes—to further expand his technical knowledge and assist with special projects. Following his graduation in 2018, we welcomed Tyler full-time to our IT team.
