Recently, fifteen members of our actuarial team met in Boston for cross-training on our business’ products and coverages. By presenting on the key aspects of their business unit, the actuaries will use similar practices from their Intact counterparts.
“We’re trying to build a second level of pooled actuarial resource; all while maintaining our current structure of dedicated actuarial support and subject matter expertise,” said Keith Champagne, Actuarial Director.
Overall, the meeting successfully prepared the actuarial team to help each other in projects across OneBeacon. The team is enthusiastic about this new plan and is “excited to see this put into action!” says Keith.
