Meet Quinn and Brian!
Please join us in welcoming Quinn Ansari. Quinn is an IT intern in the Salem, VA office. Though he was born in Colorado, he has spent much of his life so far in Virginia where he currently attends Radford University. This summer, Quinn is looking forward to gaining valuable knowledge in software engineering through hands on experience. He chose OneBeacon after meeting the engineers at a career fair and realizing that their area of work directly correlates to his career aspirations. Aside from software engineering, Quinn is interested in astrophotography, or the photography of the night sky, stars and other astronomical objects.
Please also welcome Brain Machalek. Brian is an underwriting intern in our NYC office. He was born and raised in Queens, NY and he attends St. Johns University. During his time at OneBeacon, Brian is excited to familiarize himself with different lines of business and gain firsthand experience in insurance. He chose OneBeacon because he found the positive work environment appealing. If Brian could travel anywhere, he would visit Ireland. If trapped on a deserted island, his two items of choice would be his dogs and the music on his phone. When asked what television show he most recently watched, he said Game of Thrones!
