Over the weekend, Boston’s seasonal snow total reached 100 inches. This winter is now the second snowiest on record in Boston – just eight inches shy of becoming the snowiest.
These epic conditions have greatly affected the Massachusetts workforce, including 280 of our employees in the Boston, Canton, Needham and Quincy offices. Our Boston office alone has experienced five full-day closings in the last two months, due in part to the city’s limited public transportation services.
Battling snowstorm after snowstorm in subzero temperatures has been the story for New Englanders (including myself) this winter. When we aren’t shoveling or facing a nightmare commute, we’re glued to the evening news awaiting Mother Nature’s next surprise.
