This summer, 34 employees of our New York City office came together to make a positive impact on the planet by rolling up their sleeves, getting their hands dirty, and partnering with GrowNYC — a hands-on non-profit with a mission to empower New Yorkers by focusing on Food Access & Agriculture, Green Spaces, Zero Waste and Education. GrowNYC promotes regional agriculture, supports regional farmers, builds & supports community gardens, operates zero waste programs, and helps youth and their educators foster a lifelong appreciation of nature, healthy food, and sustainability.
Our team ventured to Governor’s Island and spent a wonderful afternoon sprucing up the urban farm and community teaching garden, weeding, picking strawberries, and separating seed packets.
