Thank you to all who participated and helped in making D&I Week last week a success! Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and our winning team strives to reflect the communities we serve. We couldn’t have done this without you!
To recap the week, each of our business units and services groups planned team activities that celebrates our diversity across the organization and promotes an inclusive environment. It was wonderful to see the creativity across teams, and to learn more about our colleagues. Check out all the activities on our DE&I intranet page. And check out some fun photos below from the HR event, where they authored their own haiku poem, as well as the Marketing & Communications and BDM teams where they did a heritage show and tell. And if you haven’t had a chance yet, check out our fireside chat featuring Ngozi Nnaji of AKO Insurance Services and Brian Hetherington of Newfront (formerly ABD) as they discuss active allyship (also posted on the DE&I page).
Additionally, IFC provided additional opportunities to learn, listen and engage through a series of “In My Own Words” stories from employees, as well as live events that centered around the various DE&I dimensions.
We look forward to continuing our DE&I journey by learning about our differences and the richness that brings to our organization.
