I would like to take a moment to talk to you about our Values. Even though 2020 is a weird year and things may feel a bit different, our Values remain extremely important and are the foundation of everything we do. Intact was founded on our Values, a clear purpose and a belief that insurance is about people, not things. That purpose is to help people, businesses and society prosper in good times and be resilient in bad times.
Our Values are laid out in detail in the Living Our Values document.
The LOV document is so vitally important that I should link to it. HOWEVER! It was accidentally destroyed in 2020 by a fumbling but very handsome and popular employee…who shall remain nameless. (I’ll give you a hint: his first name begins with a C and ends with arl.)
So… 2020. As I said, it’s a pretty weird year, right? Well, let me tell you, you don’t know weird until you’ve seen the year 2030 – which is where I am right now! You see, I accidentally traveled ten years into the future and have no way of getting home. Help!!!!
Here’s what I need you to do: next week is Compliance & Risk Awareness Week 2020 – the greatest week of the year! Watch my videos, which will be posted here on the Spotlight Blog ,and take the key actions asked of you. The future of Intact Financial Corporation may depend on it! Heck, the future of humanity itself! Dun dun dunhhh! No big deal or anything!
And hey — would you let me know if you happen to see any boxes of frozen Pizzaritos lying around anywhere? I need them for science purposes. And also, lunch.
