Solving Supply Shortages, One Stitch at a Time

As we’ve all seen and heard in the news, there’s a shortage of face masks in the U.S. to help keep our front-line essential healthcare workers safe during these difficult times. To help her local community, Danielle Schmidt of our Crisis Management team got out her sewing machine and set up shop in her home to make reusable masks! Danielle, her mother and two sisters created 50 masks for her local retirement home, the Northwest Arkansas Circle of Life Home. Outside of working, Danielle enjoys spending her free time volunteering for local charities including this one.

We applaud Danielle’s charitable efforts, and are proud of these actions put forth by our OneBeacon community. Enjoy the photos below of her team and work room!
