OneBeacon Celebrates the Holidays

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at OneBeacon! Our Boston, Denver, Canton and Plymouth offices celebrated the upcoming holiday with office gatherings. From festive games to sweet treats, our OneBeacon teams got to spend time with colleagues before the holiday break. Check out how each office celebrated below!

This year, the Boston office held a holiday/winter themed cube decorating contest. While the competition was tough, ultimately the gingerbread house came out victorious. Members of the Boston team also enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and playing the holiday version of the ‘Guess Who I Am?’ game.

The Denver office was in the holiday spirit! Members of the office wore ‘ugly’ holiday sweaters and enjoyed a delicious catered lunch, which included a s’mores station. The group also played Bingo, guess the M&M’s and exchanged gifts.

The Canton office hosted a holiday bash in their building’s atrium. OneBeacon teammates dressed in ‘ugly’ holiday sweaters and enjoyed some sweet treats. They also held a cube decorating contest, along with candy guessing jar games and door prizes. Members of the Canton office had the opportunity to write letters to Santa and give back this holiday season. For every letter written, $1 was donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation courtesy of Macy’s.

The Plymouth office’s Finance and IIM-US teams celebrated the holidays with their 8th Annual Potluck/Ugly Sweater day.  The celebration followed Finance’s Town Hall meeting, which capped off the year and set the stage for 2020’s Top Priorities. Louis Marcotte, Intact CFO, was able to join the OneBeacon team for both the Town Hall and holiday lunch. This week, the Plymouth office also delivered a large load of employee-donated presents to the local Twin Cities “Toys for Tots” program, along with a $2,500 check from the OneBeacon Charitable Trust.
