Meet Chris and Caroline!
Chris is an underwriting intern in our Chicago, IL office. He’s from Algonquin, Illinois and attends Aurora University. This summer, Chris is hoping to gain knowledge about the insurance industry as well as all the products OneBeacon has to offer. He chose OneBeacon because he’s had the opportunity to work with Management Liability’s Nelson Kefauver, before and has learned a lot from him. If he could travel anywhere, he would go to Sweden and when asked what the last show he watched was, he said The Office. Chris is also a talented hockey player and a member of the Aurora University hockey team.
Caroline is an actuarial intern in the Plymouth, MN office. She grew up in Shoreview, Minnesota and attends University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire. Through this internship, Caroline is looking forward to experiencing the day to day work life of an actuary and developing her leadership skills. She chose OneBeacon because she is interested in P&C insurance and OneBeacon’s different businesses will allow her to gain a variety of actuarial skills. If Caroline could go anywhere in the world, she would travel to Bergen, Norway to visit her best friend’s family. When asked what the last book she read was, she said she’d just finished the Harry Potter series!
