Recently, Chris Arnold, Josh Conopask and Barry Dillion from IT attended the Global Scrum Gathering in Austin, Texas. The conference, a 3 day gathering with more than 1,500 attendees, was held by the Scrum Alliance, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote and inspire agile project management practices in software development. The event itself worked to immerse the attendees, allow them to experience new ideas and collaborate with each other. The two distinguished keynote speakers were Daniel Pink, a bestselling author and contributing editor at Fast Company and Wired, and Chris Messina, the inventor of the hashtag.
