Welcome Ivan Au – Tech Manager for Canada

We are pleased to announce that Ivan Au has joined the Specialty Solutions team as Technology Manager for all of Canada. Ivan is based out of our Toronto office and joins Mary Fisk-Bieker’s leadership team. Our Toronto and Montreal-based tech underwriters Zenith Taskin and Isabelle Tessier will now report to Ivan.

Ivan brings over 10 years of underwriting and product development experience for multiple specialty lines of business, with a particular focus on the technology segment. Most recently, he was the Manager, Technology, Cyber & Professional Liability at The Sovereign General Insurance Company, where he was responsible for building and managing the technology book of business from the ground up.

Ivan holds a Bachelor of Economics from York University, has his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada, and is currently pursuing his Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation.
