A few weeks ago IMU’s Seattle team attended the Marine Insurance Association of Seattle’s (MIAS) annual dinner. The event was special for many reasons, but especially because our colleague Sara Farren’s daughter Keira was recognized during the event as one of the recipients of the MIAS college scholarship.
Keira is currently a senior in high school in Arizona, where she has is an AP Scholar, a coach for the CYO sports organization and a volunteer at Providence Vincent House – a safe apartment building for low income seniors- and her town’s local animal shelter. Keira is planning to attend Washington State University seeking a degree in finance and economics with the hopes of following her mother into the insurance industry.
