Recently, the Financial Services team assembled for their annual meeting in Plymouth, MN. Like many other business units, Financial Services has team members across the country. This meeting allows everyone to get together, talk about the successes of the past year, share plans for the year ahead and catch up with each other face-to-face.
The two-day session was packed with engaging presentations from senior leadership as well as the underwriting teams. Additionally, members from Actuary, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Risk Control and Marketing & Communications who support Financial Services had the opportunity to recap their 2017 efforts and present their plans for 2018.
Given it was December in Minnesota, there was a bit of snow on the ground and cold temperatures. However, that didn’t keep the group from enjoying a little downtime together with a friendly, but competitive, game of Whirly Ball. It was a great way to escort out 2017 and energize for the year ahead.
