Members of the IT department in Canton, Farmington, Salem and Manila all participated in an ornament decorating contest! The group donated a tree adorned with the ornament contributions to the CRIBS foundation, a child welfare agency that provides services to neglected children in the Philippines.
Participants were provided with a Styrofoam ball and four different bags of supplies, which included stickers, bows, paint, glitter, pipe cleaners, puff balls and jewels. Competitors were required to use at least one item from each bag. The ornaments were judged on originality, creativity and the use of required items.
OneBeacon will purchase gifts for CRIBS Foundation children in the names of the winning team, which was determined this week in Manila!
Judges spent considerable time reviewing 40 incredibly creative entries from our teams in Farmington, Canton, Salem and Manila. The groups went above and beyond with their creativity and decorating skills!
All of this effort will bring great joy to the children at CRIBS this holiday season. A job well done to all who participated!
