Earlier this year our Dewar colleague Dana Tufts retired after nearly 40 years in insurance! Dana began his career at Dewar as a trainee in 1978, and went on to lead the company as President.
Dana’s team and immediate family celebrated his accomplishments and retirement with a surprise party at Granite Links in Quincy, MA (with a round of golf the ruse to get him to the facility). Photos of Dana throughout his years at Dewar were used as decoration around the room, including a few that were blown up to poster size, like a life-size cut out of Dana accepting a recent award from the National Business Officers Association (NBOA) for Outstanding Support of Independent Schools.
It was a terrific send-off for a terrific friend and colleague. We are wishing him all the best (and lots of golf) in his retirement! Here are a few photos from the celebration.
