Building Teams & Bikes for a Cause

Recently, members of our IT Business Analysis team based in Farmington, Salem, Plymouth and Canton gathered for a three-day meeting in Farmington. An objective of their meeting was to encourage teamwork and collaboration. To help achieve this goal, the group participated in an activity organized by “Team Bonding,” a company that mixes charity with team building.

Armed with wrenches and enthusiasm, the group got to work building six bicycles. Little did they know that the recipients of the bikes – children associated with the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford, Conn. – would be stopping by the office to pick up their new gear. Building to the excitement, the children did not know what they’d be receiving.

“While the activity was a chance to work with our peers in a different light and strengthen our relationships, the greatest reward came when the children arrived,” said IT’s Lisa Campbell. Check out a photo of the bike-building champs!
