In the days leading up to football’s big event – Super Bowl 50 – the Canton office was planning their own game-winning drive. The group hosted a food drive and invited all employees to donate soup and other non-perishable items. As part of the football-themed fun, two large boxes were placed in their breakroom – one with a Denver Broncos logo and the other with a Carolina Panthers logo. Participating employees placed their items into the box of the team they predicted would win.
In total, 515 non-perishable items were collected and donated to local food pantries including Canton, Stoughton and East Falmouth. Most who donated predicted the ensuing champion, with 338 items stacked in Denver’s box!
While many Americans were planning what snacks they’d serve up for the big game, our Canton office members were thinking of how they could help fight hunger. Our Farmington office hosted a similarly successful “souper bowl” event, which you can read about here.
