Two of our long-time colleagues will be retiring this month, Barbara Groves, from OneBeacon Specialty Property and Becky Reilly from International Marine Underwriters.
Barbara has been an instrumental part of the OneBeacon Specialty Property team since its inception in 2004 (although she has been in the business for a total of 43 years). As the Senior Underwriting Manager at our Holmdel, NJ office, Barbara has been an influential part of OBSP’s success over the last 10 years and, more importantly, a wonderful friend. Barbara has always been a fan of cruising (having been on more than 40!) and we hope her retirement brings her 40 more!
Becky joined IMU’s Atlanta office in 1980 as a part-time employee and mother of one and a half children (she was pregnant with her second at the time!). 32 years later Becky has seen the office grow from a team of 4 to the current 17, and has successfully navigated many different roles, ranging from yacht underwriter and accountant to IMU’s resident “missing item” finder! Becky will be leaving the company on September 5.
