How many states have you lived and worked in? How many countries? For Sandy Farris, Underwriting Manager at OneBeacon Entertainment, the answer is 3 and 2 (plus an entire continent as a territory– more on that later). Now after 41 years in the insurance industry and a career spanning the globe and several twists and turns, Sandy will be retiring next week on July, 13.

Our product fairs continue into 2018! We kicked off our first “trade-show” style product fair of the year in Dallas, Texas at Public School 972, where our partners gathered to learn more about our products and services, while enjoying an evening of appetizers, drinks and networking.

As the industry gears up for its most anticipated award ceremony, the 90th Academy Awards, our Entertainment team would like to take a moment to congratulate and detail their involvement with the nominated films that we have been very proud to support this year – “I, Tonya”, “All the Money in the World”, “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri” and “The Shape of Water.” In addition to being excellent works of art, they were also interesting and exciting accounts to underwrite and risks manage.
