Enterprise Underwriting’s Roger Ferguson recently celebrated his 40th anniversary at the company. Roger’s Boston teammates were excited to recognize this amazing milestone with a celebration in the office. While they snacked on cake, Roger entertained the group by sharing work-related stories from his early years at the company.
Roger currently provides program and project management consultant services to various business and service groups, though his tenure at the company spans a multitude of departments and cities. “The variety of roles I’ve held have made for an interesting and evolving career,” said Roger. “I’ve had the opportunity to develop different skills and see many projects through, which is truly rewarding.”
When Roger first started at the company (then named Commercial Union), he worked in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His main responsibility was to maintain policy and claims data. Roger then relocated to an office in Oakbrook Terrace, a Chicago suburb, and then onto our Northeast offices. It was in Boston where Roger honed his project management, programming and business systems analyst skills. Up until 2010, his work focused on our personal lines business.
“Since 2010, I’ve worked on a number of larger corporate initiatives, including consolidation efforts, the sale of the legacy underwriting companies to Armour and the sale of our personal lines business to Tower,” said Roger. “Currently, I’m enjoying working with the Operations, Legal and Enterprise Underwriting teams as well as coordinating the property rewrite initiative.”
Please join us in thanking Roger for his valuable contributions to our company!
