February is dedicated as Black History Month, and the 2024 theme is “African Americans and the Arts.” This is an opportunity to appreciate the many ways Black American artists have historically served as advocates of change through their crafts – uplifting their community and inspiring our nation.
In support of this national theme, EMBRACE, our BIPOC employee network, is launching an engagement opportunity called the “Show us your art!” campaign. Throughout the month, we are inviting you to share a favorite artwork you’ve created or perhaps simply one you enjoy by a Black American artist, whether a painter, photographer, filmmaker, etc.
Today, we are profiling EMBRACE’s co-chair, Crystal Conover who is an artist outside of her work here at Intact. To submit a photo and write-up of (your) artwork to be featured in the campaign, please reach out to the EMBRACE team (Embrace@intactinsurance.com).
