A team of 18 from our Canton, Mass.-based office joined together over the weekend to compete in the 10th Annual Reebok Canton Road Race, a community fundraising event for the Canton Association of Business & Industry (CABI) Charitable Fund. Sponsored by the OneBeacon Charitable Trust, our team competed in the 5K corporate challenge against neighboring companies.
Employees spent the morning cheering each other on at the finish line, enjoying post-race refreshments and a silent auction. Two of our racers, Miguel Ferreira and Heather Matthes, finished in the top 50 of nearly 500 participants, and a few employees even brought along their children to participate in the kid’s one-mile fun run.
CABI will donate all race proceeds to local Canton nonprofits, hospitals, schools and organizations.
